Position Summary
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) is seeking a full-time Dietary Worker to join our Dietary Department. This position plays an important role in providing quality food service to our patients, employees and guests. Responsibilities include preparing and assembling patient meal trays according to individual menus, setting up dining areas for employee meal service, preparing salads, side dishes, desserts and between-meal nourishments, and assisting with dishwashing and other dietary functions.

The Dietary Worker also helps maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment by properly handling food, equipment and supplies and cleaning food carts and work areas after meal service.

Schedule & Benefits:
Department hours are 6:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Rotating shifts and weekends
No late nights!
Weekend shift differential available
Wages based on experience

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Must be willing to learn and perform activities of food handling to provide items that meet established standards for attractiveness, sanitations, cleanliness and neatness.
