I am selling from my private collection a rare high condition SWEET SIXTEEN Browning A5 semi auto shotgun. This shotgun was made in 1949 and has survived 77 years in a high state of preservation. You would look a very long time to find a Sweet Sixteen in this condition. This is an investment quality Browning Sweet-Sixteen.

The wood a reddish tone is crack free and has only some miner scrapes and dings, the butt stock length of pull to the end of the like new horn butt plate is 14 3/8 inches. The stock as you can see in the pictures, has a round knob grip. The forend is stamped with the matching receiver and barrel serial numbers which all match.

The 25 1/2 inches barrel has bluing that is almost perfect and has the desirable solid rib. The chamber is 2 3/4 inches and the bore is excellent. The choke is marked ** which designates the barrel is choked Improved Mod. The receiver also is almost perfect and has the standard hand engraved pattern which is still crisp.
