NOW HIRING: ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN

Harlan County Health System is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our Environmental Services team in Alma, Nebraska.

The Environmental Services Technician helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment by cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas. Additional responsibilities include removing waste and soiled linens, restocking supplies, operating cleaning equipment, and following infection-prevention procedures.

Position Details:

• Full Time

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00pm, Rotating Holiday and Weekend On Call

• Starting pay: $17.00-19.00 per hour, depending on experience

What We’re Looking For:

• Dependable and able to work independently

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to follow safety and infection-prevention procedures

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds
