New owner (outfitter) will need to apply for a License from the State of Colorado (DORA) Denver CO– permit from Conejos Peak Ranger District (205 Service Days). New owner (outfitter) will also need to be bonded and be insured. You will also need to have CPR & First Aid courses current to operate. No additional permits are allowed for these units from the State of Colorado. The only way to obtain a permit is by purchasing one from an existing outfitter.
