Help drive the future by joining Barton Community College’s Commercial Driver’s License and School Bus Training Program as a Part-Time Driving Assistant. You will put your driving experience to work, by supporting students as they learn to drive under real-world conditions. You will coach students through safety inspections, essential driving skills such as turning, navigating curves, and backing maneuvers.  Candidates must possess a Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement, an S and P endorsement is preferred.  A valid Kansas Department of Transportation physical card is also required. Individual(s) hired will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug testing as required by the Kansas Department of Transportation.
