Decatur Health – Oberlin, KS Position: Registered Nurse – Procedure/Outpatient/HPM Status: Full‑Time (1.0 FTE)

Decatur Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to support our outpatient procedure services and serve as the lead for Holistic Pain Management (HPM). This role provides direct nursing care before, during, and after minor surgical procedures and specialty medication administration (infusion/injection), while also coordinating scheduling, documentation, equipment readiness, and patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre‑procedure, intra‑procedure, and post‑procedure nursing care

• Circulate for outpatient minor surgical procedures with the General Surgeon

• Administer and monitor specialty medications (infusion/injection)

• Serve as the HPM lead, coordinating all HPM procedures and performing as the procedure nurse

• Schedule procedures and clinic appointments; complete chart prep

• Manage documentation, consents, and procedure records

• Oversee equipment and supply management, including scope maintenance and repair coordination

• Provide recovery room (PACU) care and complete patient handoffs

• Support outpatient clinic operations as needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas

• Strong assessment, critical‑thinking, and communication skills

• Experience in outpatient procedures, endoscopy, or infusion therapy preferred

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
