Decatur Health – Oberlin, KS Position: Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Med/Surg & Emergency Department) Status: Full‑Time (0.9 FTE) Openings: 3

Decatur Health is seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our Night Shift team. This role provides direct patient care in both Med/Surg and the Emergency Department within our rural critical access hospital.

Shift: 12‑hour nights (6pm–6am) Schedule: Every third weekend + holiday rotation License Required: Active Kansas RN license

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care in Med/Surg and ER settings

• Perform assessments, administer medications, and respond to emergent situations

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

• Document patient care accurately and timely

• Support patient safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Current Kansas RN license

• Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in Med/Surg or ER preferred but not required
