Decatur Health – Oberlin, KS Position: Day Shift Patient Care Technician (PCT) Status: Part‑Time (0.6 FTE)

Decatur Health is seeking a dependable and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our day shift team. This role supports nursing staff and provides hands‑on patient care in our critical access hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily care needs

• Support nursing staff with vital signs, documentation, and basic clinical tasks

• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment

• Provide excellent communication and customer service

• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• CNA registry preferred but not required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (6am–6pm)
