Leadership Team Position

Position Summary

The Director of Support Services serves as a key operational leader for Midwest Family Health, helping turn organizational strategy into coordinated execution across Pharmacy, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Front-End Retail, and Support Office operations. This role partners closely with ownership and the Leadership Team to drive organizational alignment, project execution, workflow development, regulatory readiness, and operational consistency across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership, Execution & Organizational Alignment

  • Drive implementation of organizational initiatives across multiple locations
  • Foster accountability and follow-through in partnership with ownership and the Leadership Team
  • Facilitate Leadership Team meetings, project tracking, and initiative implementation
  • Help ensure organizational priorities move from planning into execution
  • Maintain organizational project coordination systems and controlling calendars

Workflow Integration & Process Improvement

  • Promote alignment across Pharmacy, DME, Front-End Retail, and Support Office operations
  • Track implementation timelines, workflow initiatives, and organizational priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve consistency, efficiency, communication, and accuracy across locations
  • Support workflow standardization and process integration across departments and locations
  • Travel to locations as needed to assist with implementation efforts and workflow alignment

Contracting, Credentialing & Regulatory Readiness

  • Oversee contracting, credentialing, licensure, and organizational documentation systems
  • Help ensure audit preparedness and regulatory readiness across all locations
  • Assist with internal audits, compliance coordination, and related process improvement initiatives

Training Infrastructure & Organizational Development

  • Maintain and oversee organizational training resources and operational tools
  • Support integration of workflows, checklists, and standardized training materials across locations
  • Oversee updates to training systems, Career Ladder programs, and accreditation-related resources
  • Assist with rollout of workflow updates and organizational process changes

Initial Training & Development Phase

During the initial onboarding period, the Director of Support Services will complete operational immersion and workflow training within the Smith Center location across Pharmacy, DME, and Front-End operations to develop a strong understanding of Midwest Family Health operations and the healthcare environment the organization serves.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of leadership, operations, or project coordination experience
  • Strong organizational leadership, accountability, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel regularly between locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-site operations leadership experience
  • Healthcare operations experience including pharmacy, DME, clinic, or related settings
  • Experience with contracting, credentialing, regulatory documentation, or compliance readiness
  • Experience coordinating operational projects across multiple departments
  • Pharmacist licensure welcomed but not required

Certification Requirement

Non-pharmacist hires must obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification within four months of hire. Onsite training support will be provided.

Compensation 

Salary range: $100,000-$140,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
