Now Hiring: Full-Time Cowboy / Cattle Ranch Hand
Location: Burdett, KS

We are looking for a dedicated, experienced cowboy to join our growing cattle operation. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives in a high-responsibility environment and enjoys working with cattle, from high-risk calves to yearling steers.

Our Operation Includes:

• Cow-calf herd and replacement heifer development
• Yearling steers on grass and wheat pasture
• High-risk calves requiring specialized care and close attention

Responsibilities:

• Daily cattle health and management, including doctoring and processing
• Care and management of high-risk calves
• Feeding cattle as needed
• Working cattle in both pasture and pens
• Assisting with breeding, vaccinations, and weaning
• Maintaining equipment, fences, and facilities
• Working with the team to ensure efficient daily operations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with cattle, especially calves and yearling steers
• Must provide your own horse and tack
• Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Horsemanship and roping skills preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay based on experience
• Housing may be available for the right candidate
