Mark your calendars for an exciting event coming to the Trego County Historical Scoeity Museum in August!  Historian, Marla Matkin will be presenting "The Widows: Faithful Standbys" on Sunday, August 30th.  Her presentaion will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Little Bighorn and share the story of the wives who lost their husbands at the battle.  Attendees will gain insight into the women who played crucial roles in supporting their families and communities during challenging times.  

Marla's presenation is funded by the Robert B. Wilhelm Distinguished Speaker Series Fund at the Heartland Community Foundation.
