A Beard Competition will be held on Saturday September 19, 2026 in conjunction with the Liebenthal Kansas Fall Festival at 6pm on the festival grounds surrounding the historic St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Free to attend!   

The Beard Competition will feature 5 categories to be judged on the longest beard, scruffiest beard, best groomed beard and the beard the judges determine looks most like a Santa Claus beard.  The last category will encourage young and old or boys and girls to participate in the best looking Fake Beard.  All are welcome to enter and can register on-site prior to the start of the competition.  To participate, show up at the main stage prior to the 6pm start time and get registered.  Free to participate and prizes will be awarded in each category
