Qualifications:
● Minimum of 21 years of age
● High School Diploma or GED
License/
Certification:
● Maintain Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation, Ethics, Sexual Harassment, Emergency Preparedness, Vehicle Orientation, HIPPA, Bloodborne Pathogens, AP/SP/CI, Supportive Healthy Living and OSHA trainings and CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration and Mandt certifications
● Must have valid Kansas driver’s license at all times with no lapse in license
● Must have and maintain valid KDOT physical at all times with no lapse in license
● OSHA certification for forklift operation
● 10-30 hour OSHA certificate within 6 months of accepting this position within our organization
Education:
● Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
● Working knowledge fire marshal regulations
Position Summary:
● Oversee production and recycling operations, job scheduling, inventory, equipment, and plant facilities
● Responsible for quality assurance, customer service, and assisting to provide a safe work environment
Experience:
● Experience with production process
● Experience with employee management
Skills:
● Basic computer skills and ability to learn specified programs
● Ability to work with minimal supervision and instruction
● Experience with Quick Books or the ability to learn it
Working
Conditions:
● 50% indoor
● 50% outdoor
● May have high noise levels due to radio traffic, telephone calls, walk in clients, or other agency business
● Temperatures will reflect seasonal changes at outdoor sites and attempts to maintain comfortable temperatures will be made at indoor sites
● Noise levels vary by site but are usually moderate, although at times may be loud
● Hearing protection is provided at sites with extreme noise levels
● Environmental conditions vary by work site and employees are required to work at community locations
● Must follow assigned work schedules that typically reflect hours Monday-Friday but schedules and hours vary based on need
● Employees are expected to remain flexible and cooperative
● 40 hour work week with over time as scheduled by management
Physical Requirements:
● Regularly required to stand, kneel, stoop, squat, talk, walk, and hear
● Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
● Occasionally required to sit
● Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, manipulate tools, or controls and grasp objects

● Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
● Regularly pull carts of 75-100 pounds

● Meet production requirements for scheduled shipments
o Work with Employment Services Manager (ESM) utilizing available work force
o Supplement the work force as needed to ensure completions
o Schedule production as sales are made
● Meet shipping/receiving schedules to maintain operations
o Load and unload products from trucks as required
● Track raw material and finished goods inventory
o Perform ongoing counts
o Correctly store and maintain materials/finished goods
● Set up and break down of production lines and/or stations
o Movement of equipment and materials to assigned work site
o Work with ESM to ensure line ready when workers assigned
● Maintenance of machinery, equipment, and vehicles
o Perform in-house repairs
o Arrange for contracted repairs with COO when necessary
● Meet scheduled collection and/or delivery routes
o Arrange routes and substitute for driver when required
● Meet OSHA and/or Company policies and requirements
● Supervise Recycling Employees
o Assign Job Duties – training staff as necessary to ensure performance of those duties as trained and assigned
o Ensure professional behavior of staff
o Resolve work related issues/conflicts
o Process staff related payroll, absences, evaluations, incidents, accidents, counseling, and discipline records
● Product Research and Development
o Work with CEO as an onsite contact to develop new customers and/or products
● Maintain communication with ESM and provide support as needed
o Supervision Employment Services activities for clients
▪ Evaluate tasks for modification and worker suitability
▪ Process all related reports and requisitions as required
▪ Ensure completion of all incident/accident reports
▪ Provide 1st Aid or emergency care when required
● Maintain communication with COO, ESM, Director of Marketing, and Director of Adult Services
o General plant operations and issues
o Attending meetings, submitting required paperwork and reports as requested
● Present a positive and productive image to clients, business contacts, guardians, other family members, staff, and the general public during the performance of job functions during the performance of job functions
● Provide assistance on tasks to ensure task is completed accurately and promptly on an as needed basis
● Attends meetings and training as directed by supervisor
● Other duties as assigned by supervisor
